INDIANAPOLIS — One person was shot on the west side of Indianapolis Saturday afternoon.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to Indiana University West Hospital in Avon on reports of a person shot shortly after 3:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers located a victim suffering from a gunshot injury. The victim was reported to be awake and breathing.
According to IMPD, the shooting occurred in the 900 block of Cloverleaf Terrace.
