INDIANAPOLIS -- Two people were shot outside of a liquor store early Tuesday morning on Indianapolis' west side.

An employee of a liquor store near the intersection of 38th Street and Moller Road called 911 around 12:30 a.m., saying two people were shot outside of the store.

One shooting victim made his way about 100 yards to a nearby restaurant for help. The second somehow made his way to Eskenazi Hospital.

At the liquor store, police found many shell casings on 34th Street. The glass of the liquor store's front door was shot out.

Investigators also found a trail of gasoline to 38th and Moller. The trail could have come from a gas tank struck by gunfire, police say.

A police spokesperson said both victims are adult men, who were shot in various places. He said they weren't cooperating with police.
