INDIANAPOLIS — A shooting at a southside apartment complex has left one person dead and another person injured.
According to IMPD, officers were called to the 1400 block of Salisbury Lane around 12:30 p.m. for a report of a person shot.
Arriving officers found an adult male outside of the home suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
While on scene, officers located an adult female inside the home with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
In an update on Tuesday, police said the surviving male was arrested for murder. Detectives believe the incident was a murder-attempted suicide.
