FRANKLIN — Franklin police arrested two people Sunday night in connection to a shooting that killed an 18-year-old man.
Franklin Police Department chief Kirby Cochran said in a Facebook post that one suspect was arrested on charges of felony murder, robbery and other charges, while the second is in custody for assisting a criminal.
Earlier Sunday, Cochan announced Franklin police found a red 2013 Dodge Dart that is believed to have been used by the suspects.
An 18-year-old man was shot to death around 6:30 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Hurricane Street in Franklin near the Boys and Girls Club of Johnson County.
Cochran said police are still working through leads and more updates will follow.
