MARION — The Marion Police Department announced Wednesday that three men have been arrested as part of a several month long investigation into drug dealing in the Grant County city.
According to information from Detective Michael Ross, the JEAN Team Drug Taskforce arrested James Darquan McCreary, 40, Cortez Maurice Love, 37, and Jeffery Jerel Campbell, 33. The three men each face multiple felony drug charges.
Ross said search warrants were served at four locations in Marion, and the case resulted in the seizure of more than a pound-and-a-half of cocaine, 17 ounces of methamphetamine, multiple firearms and drug paraphernalia.
The investigation into the alleged drug ring is ongoing, Ross said, and authorities expect to issue at least 50 more arrest warrants in the case.
