INDIANAPOLIS – IMPD is investigating multiple weekend shootings that left two people dead and several others injured.
Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Winfield Avenue on Saturday around 11:30 p.m.
Three people who had been shot were located at the scene and all were taken to the hospital. Early Sunday, one of the victims, a man, died at the hospital. Another man and a woman were reported to be in stable condition.
The deceased victim was identified as Sebastion Taylor, 20.

About an hour earlier on Saturday, police found a man in a vehicle who had been shot in the 6000 block of East 30th Street. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition but died Sunday morning, according to police.
He was identified as Kevan Anthony Akbar, 27.
On Nov. 22, IMPD announced an arrest was made in connection with Akbar's death. WRTV does not name individuals arrested until formal charges have been filed.

- Walk-in person shot at St. Vincent Hospital on 86th Street - one victim awake and breathing
- Walk-in person shot at Eskenazi Hospital - one victim awake and breathing
- 2100 block of N. Arlington Ave - one victim awake and breathing just before 2 a.m. Sunday
- A second person was shot in the 2100 block of Arlington Avenue just before 9 a.m. They were also awake and breathing
