MUNCIE — A man's body was found inside a water treatment plant early Monday morning.
Delaware County Coroner Rick Howell says the body was found inside the Muncie sanitary building in the 5100 block of West Kilgore Avenue.
Howell says family members were able to identify the man as Michael D. Coates, 41.
Police are still trying to determine how the body got inside of the water treatment facility and if there is anything suspicious about his death.
The man's death remains under investigation at this time by the Muncie Police Department.
