Carmel police arrest four, searching for fifth suspect after armed robbery

CARMEL — Four suspects were arrested and police are looking for a fifth suspect after an armed robbery early Wednesday morning at a CVS Pharmacy.

Carmel Police Department officers were called to investigate the armed robbery around 1:15 a.m. on South Range Line Road, according to a press release from police. The suspects then led police on a chase and crashed near 116th Street and Woodland Drive.

Four suspects, an 18-year-old Indianapolis man and three juveniles, were arrested, according to the release. Officers found several guns when they arrested the suspects.

The fifth suspect hasn't been located and police don't know if they are armed.

An employee at the pharmacy was injured during the robbery and treated at the scene, according to the release.

On Dec. 26, Carmel police arrested a man after an armed robbery at the nearby Walgreens.
