INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department homicide detectives are hoping you can help them identify and locate a person they want to talk to about a July murder on the city's north side.
Erodney Davis was found shot to death shortly before 4 a.m. on July 30 in an apartment complex parking lot in the 2100 block of Shelburne Drive.
Davis' car, a red Chevrolet Impala, was found in another apartment complex in the 2000 block of Manchester Lane, near the homicide scene. It had been set on fire.

These images, taken by security cameras inside an IHOP in the 6900 block of W 38th Street, show Davis (long bound dreads, red shirt, red shorts, red/white shoes) with a person of interest (male with tan or grey hat, grey shirt, thick gold chain, and blue jeans). The first image shows the person of interest by himself.
