ANDERSON — Police are investigating after a man and woman were shot Thursday night in Anderson.
Anderson Police Department officers and emergency personnel were called to the incident around 9:25 p.m. to the 1700 block of Meridian Street, APD Maj. Joel Sandefur said.
The conditions of the victims are unknown at this time, but Sandefur says they were both shot multiple times. They were both later transported to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
The incident remains under investigation, Sandefur said Friday afternoon.
