INDIANAPOLIS — A person crashed a car into the side of a west side gun store early Friday and stole an unknown number of firearms, police said.

Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called around 3 a.m. on a report of a building collapse at 500 Guns in the 3200 block of West 16th Street.

According to police, a person driving past the store reported seeing a car drive into the east side of the building. Officers found the car and a large hole in the side of the business.

The car did not have license plates and security cameras captured images of the suspect inside the store.

Nobody is in custody and the case remains under investigation.
