Grant County high school student killed in stabbing

GAS CITY, Ind. -- A 17-year-old high school student was fatally stabbed Tuesday evening in Grant County, Indiana.

The stabbing happened at about 9 p.m., in the 5500 block of S. 700 East. 

The Grant County Sheriff's Department were called to Marion General Hospital reference a stabbing. 

One of the two victims, 17-year-old Ethen Wolff, was pronounced dead. The other victim was hospitalized.

Wolff was a student at Mississinewa High School, Principal Steve Quaderer said. The school has implemented a crisis response team with outside agencies on Wednesday. The response includes therapy dogs and school counselors. School officials have also been meeting with students since 7 a.m., Quaderer said.

Police have two suspects in custody -- a 20-year-old and an 18-year-old.
