INDIANAPOLIS -- Two people were arrested for breaking into the same home on Indianapolis' southeast side two nights in a row.
The break-ins happened in the 5000 block of Clemens Place.
A woman whose home is for sale was trying to sell her washer and dryer.
Somehow the suspects knew she wasn't home Wednesday night and allegedly broke in.
The next night the homeowner had her son, who happens to be a police officer, stay overnight.
He caught the suspects and held them at gunpoint until officers arrived.
"We feel grateful that they've been caught. I've been texting with some of my neighbors and just really glad that they were caught. I'm sure that my neighbor is still a little edgy, I mean, who wouldn't be after your house has been broken into? Like I said, fortunately she wasn't there and her dogs weren't there either so nobody was hurt and they caught him so hopefully she gets her stuff back," said Becky Owens, neighbor.
43-year-old Keith Durham and 30-year-old Kellie Durham were arrested.
