INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed Sunday evening on the east side of Indianapolis.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers and emergency personnel were called just before 6 p.m. to the 1500 block of Tina Marie Circle on the report of a person shot, IMPD Officer Genae Cook said in a press release.
When they arrived, they located a man who appeared to be shot, Cook said. The man later died.

The identity of the man or any possible suspects have not been released.
IMPD homicide detectives are still working to find out what led to the shooting.
