INDIANAPOLIS — A man was arrested Thursday on drug and weapon related charges and outstanding warrants after police received a tip on his location.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were going to investigate the tip of the suspect’s location when they passed his vehicle.
Police conducted a traffic stop in the 7200 block of East Washington Street and located approximately 20 grams of methamphetamine, 10 grams of heroin, mushrooms, 5 grams of marijuana, and a handgun, IMPD said in a Facebook post.
Approximately $8,000 was also located in the vehicle, according to police.
The man was arrested on his outstanding warrant and several drug and weapon related charges.
IMPD said the man is subject to face possible federal charges due to an ongoing ATF investigation.
