INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD homicide detectives are investigating a death after a person was found in an alley on the east side Thursday morning.
According to IMPD, officers were called to the 300 block of Villa Avenue for a non-responsive person.
At the scene, officers found an adult male with multiple gunshot wound injuries. They died at the scene.
IMPD says they believe the incident occurred in the early morning hours on Thursday.
They are asking for the community's help in identifying information about the person.
Anyone with information about a person that may have been driving a Silver Ford Focus with a plate from Chihuahua, Mexico is asked to call IMPD or the Marion County Coroner's Office.
