INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating the death of a woman found outside with trauma injuries on the east side.
According to police, 52-year-old Marianne Weis found dead in the area of 21st Street and Mitthoefer Road.
It is unclear how long the woman had been in the area, but police are asking for anyone who may have seen something in the last 24 to 48 hours to come forward.
This is the second person to be found dead from trauma in the area in less than a week. It is unclear if the deaths are related, according to IMPD.
IMPD says the investigation to determine if there is any correlation between the two.
The Marion County Coroner's Office will release the identity of the victim once her family is notified.
