INDIANAPOLIS — One person is dead after a shooting on the city's northeast side, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Officers responded just before 7 p.m. to the 2800 block of Forest Manor Avenue. Nathaniel C. Dawn Jr, 55, was found shot on the porch.
He was taken to the hospital in critical condition but died shortly after getting there.
Dawn's death was ruled a homicide by the Marion County Coroner's Office.
