INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is currently investigating a fatal shooting on the city's west side.
According to police, officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Waterview Drive on a report of a person shot around 2:15 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers located a man with a gunshot wound. The man identified as Eric Jones, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Marion County Coroner's Office will release his identity.
