Man arrested after deadly shooting in gas station parking lot

INDIANAPOLIS — Detectives are looking for two suspects after a man was fatally shot in a gas station parking lot early Sunday morning in Indianapolis, according to police.

The man was fatally shot just before 3 a.m. at a Marathon gas station near South Keystone and East Troy avenues.

Two suspects attempted to rob two males in the parking lot and fatally shot one of them when they resisted, according to a wanted poster from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

Both male suspects then left the gas station in a light-colored 4-door sedan with tinted windows, according to the poster.

The identity of the man who was shot and killed hasn't been released.

The incident remains under investigation.
