INDIANAPOLIS — Police say they have safely located four children who were abducted by their non-custodial mother.
Investigators believe the mother left with her four children — although the Indiana Department of Child Services has a court order to take the children into their custody.
IMPD says the children were located safely and provided no further details.

The department is set to receive about $338 million next year, 4% more than this year’s budget. A lot of that money will go towards recruitment efforts and officer salaries.
