INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department asks for the public's help in identifying a man they believe robbed a bank on the south side.

On October 16, IMPD officers were called to PNC Bank, located at 4030 South East Street, for a bank robbery. Officers were told a man went into the bank, demanded money, and then fled the scene before they arrived.

The suspect did get away with an undetermined amount of money, according to police.

Police ask that if you recognize the man in the photos above, call the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force or Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-8477.

The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 6-feet tall with a "medium" build. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a dark-colored jacket.
