INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says two people were found shot inside a vehicle in front of an east side apartment.
The shooting happened around 7 p.m. Monday in the 1300 block of Riley Place.
Police say two children were inside the vehicle at the time of the shooting but neither of them were injured.
"We're really lucky that we didn't have a child that was killed out of this," IMPD Captain Mike Leepper said. "We have reason at this point in time to believe that the suspect is possibly known to both of the victims in this case."
One victim is in critical condition and the other is stable.
