ZIONSVILLE — A year after a Zionsville man died from an apparent drug overdose, investigators have charged an Indianapolis man for dealing the drugs that resulted in the man's death.
According to a report from the Zionsville Police Department, officers were called on Jan. 18, 2020, on report of an overdose. Police said Maxwell Timbrook, 28, was pronounced dead on scene.
Zionsville police launched an investigation that included multiple search warrants and eventually lead to the arrest of an Indianapolis man on Friday.
According to court records, a 50-year-old Indianapolis man has been charged in Boone Superior Court with one count of dealing in a controlled substance resulting in death, a level 1 felony.
