INDIANAPOLIS — A 21-year-old man accused of fatally shooting a man and wounding a teenager in January has been been arrested, police said Tuesday.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the shooting before 9 p.m. Jan. 11 in the 2100 block of North Spencer Avenue.
Police found two victims, 56-year-old James Lewis and a 14-year-old boy suffering from gunshot wounds.
Medics pronounced Lewis dead at the scene, while the teenager was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
The Marion County Prosecutor's Office will review the case and make a final charging decision against the 21-year-old suspect.
