INDIANAPOLIS — A man is dead after a shooting on the northeast side of Indianapolis Sunday afternoon.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, around 11 a.m., officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 4100 block of Shady Oak Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered a victim suffering from gunshot injuries in the parking lot.
The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene. He was later identified as 19-year-old Isaiah Booker.
The incident is still under investigation and no arrests have been made.
