LAFAYETTE — Police in Lafayette are investigating after a male found in a road Thursday night died.
Lafayette Police Department officers say the male was found near North 9th and Ferry streets around 10 p.m., LPD Lt. Matt Gard said. The male was taken to a local hospital where they later died.
Detectives are still working to find out what happened, but believe the incident may be traffic-related, Gard said.
Their identity has not been released.
