INDIANAPOLIS — A man is dead and a woman is in stable condition after an apparent double stabbing early Sunday morning on the west side of Indianapolis.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers and emergency personnel were called around 3:45 a.m. to the 800 block of Chapelwood Boulevard, near 10th Street and North Girl School Road, on the report of a disturbance, IMPD Officer Michael Hewitt said in a press release. When they arrived, they located two people suffering from apparent stab wounds.
The man later died, Hewitt said. The woman was taken an Indianapolis hospital in stable condition.

At this time, police have not released any additional details surrounding the incident.
The name of the victims or any possible suspects have not been released.
