INDIANAPOLIS — A homicide investigation is underway after police found a man who was dead Friday morning on the northeast side of Indianapolis, according to police.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called around 6:45 a.m. to the 3700 block of North Shadeland Avenue on the report of a person who was dead.
Officers found the man with apparent trauma when they arrived, IMPD Sgt. Grace Sibley said in a press release. His identity hasn't been released.
The incident is under investigation and additional details haven't been released.
