INDIANAPOLIS — A man was shot and killed early Sunday morning outside of a restaurant on the northeast side of Indianapolis.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers and emergency personnel were called around 2 a.m. to a restaurant in the 5900 block of Massachusetts Avenue on the report of a person shot, IMPD Officer Michael Hewitt said in a press release. When they arrived, they located a man who had died after apparently being shot.
At this time, the identity of the man or any possible suspects have not been released.

IMPD Homicide detectives are still working to find out the details surrounding the shooting.
