Man shot and killed Sunday morning on Brouse Avenue in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — A man was shot and killed early Sunday morning on the north side of Indianapolis, according to police.

The incident was reported to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers around 1:45 a.m. Sunday in the 3100 block of Brouse Avenue, near East 30th Street and North Keystone Avenue, IMPD Officer William Young said in an incident brief.

The man's identity has not been released.

A person is stable and was taken to a local hospital after another shooting Sunday morning in the 5800 block of Beech Hollow Drive on the city's northwest side, Young said in an email. It's unknown if the two incidents are connected.
