LEBANON — Lebanon police say they are investigating after a man was shot in the chest Monday evening.
Lebanon Police Department officers and emergency personnel were called around 7 p.m. to the 800 block of Cohen Street and found a 29-year-old man, of Lebanon, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest when they arrived, according to a press release from the department.
The victim was taken to an Indianapolis hospital, according to the release. Their condition has not been released.
Detectives believe a verbal argument between the victim and another man led to the shooting, according to the release. Detectives are working to collect evidence at the scene and interview witnesses to determine what happened.
The identity of the suspect has not been released.
