INDIANAPOLIS — A man who was shot Sunday evening on the south side of Indianapolis has died, police said Tuesday.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the shooting after 5 p.m. in the 8200 block of South Meridian Street.
Medics transported the man, identified as 19-year-old Cung Cem, to an area hospital, but police said he died Monday night.
The circumstances of the shooting remain under investigation.
