INDIANAPOLIS -- One man is dead following a shooting early Monday morning on Indianapolis' southeast side.
Police responded to the 1600 block of S. Harlan Street around 1:30 a.m.
When they arrived, officers found a man with an apparent gunshot wound in critical condition.
Indianapolis EMS pronounced the man dead on the scene.
Neighbors told officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department that they heard an argument then gunshots, and a car sped away.
No word on the victim's identity or a suspect description at this time.
