INDIANAPOLIS — In a record year for homicides in Indianapolis, the latest involves a person found dead Tuesday near a busy north side intersection.
Police were called to the 3700 block of North Meridian Street late Tuesday morning. A body had been found between two buildings.
According to a public information officer for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, a male victim had suffered some sort of trauma. A few hours later, police ruled the death of homicide.
The victim's name has not been released and there has been no arrest. The Marion County Coroner's Office will determine exactly how the person died.
