INDIANAPOLIS — One person is dead after being shot on the near north side of Indianapolis Friday night.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to the 2000 block of North College Avenue on reports of a person shot at around 11 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot injury.
Police say the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene to begin the investigation.
