INDIANAPOLIS — One person is dead after a shooting on the northeast side of Indianapolis Monday night.
According to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 6800 block of Faris Avenue around 8:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers located a victim with gunshot injuries near a pond in the apartment complex.
The victim was reported to be in critical condition but was later pronounced deceased at a local hospital.
