Two men killed in shooting on Baltimore Avenue in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — Two men are dead after a shooting on Indianapolis' north side Monday afternoon.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called around 2:30 p.m. to the 3700 block of Baltimore Avenue for a report of a person shot.

Arriving officers found two people, both males, with apparent gunshot wounds, according to IMPD. They both died.

They have been identified as Clarence January, 34, and Savage Trent Jones, 35, according to the Marion County Coroner's Office.

Police said the driver of a car started shooting into another car. One man was found dead in the driver's seat and the other man was found in the street.

No arrests have been made and police are still looking for the suspect.
