INDIANAPOLIS — One person is dead after a shooting on the northeast side of Indianapolis Saturday.
According to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to a business at 3828 Hillside Avenue for a person shot around 2 p.m.
Arriving officers located an adult male outside with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Shortly after, the victim was pronounced deceased.
On Monday, August 21, IMPD announced the arrest of a 50-year-old man in connection with the homicide.
