INDIANAPOLIS — A person has died after being shot in the 9900 block of East 38th Street.
IMPD officers responded at about 11 p.m. to a report of a person shot and found the victim who was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to police, a person of interest is in custody. On Friday morning, IMPD said they have been arrested for murder after additional investigation.
Formal charges haven't been filed yet by the Marion County Prosecutor's Office against the 41-year-old man.
Police are also looking for a white ice cream truck. It’s described as a white panel van with “Ice Cream” written on the side and a picture of an Angry Bird character.
