1 dead after shooting on Indy's near southeast side

INDIANAPOLIS — One person is dead after being shot on the near southeast side of Indianapolis on Monday.

According to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to a person shot at E. Tabor Street and Draper St. just before 5 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers located 19-year-old Marvon Suttle in a vehicle with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.

Suttle died at the scene.

It is not yet clear if Suttle was shot at the location or if he drove there after being shot.

Police said several family members of the victim live on the street where he was found.
