INDIANAPOLIS — Officers with Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are investigating after a person was shot and killed on the near northeast side of Indianapolis Friday afternoon.
It happened just after 4:00 in the 3500 block of Kinnear Avenue on a report of a person shot. When officers arrived, they located 41-year-old Soloman Keets inside a vehicle who had injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
Keets was pronounced dead at the scene.
IMPD Homicide Detectives responded to the scene to begin their investigation. The Marion County Coroner’s Office will be assisting and will determine the exact manner and cause of death.
