Teen in serious condition after shooting on Arsenal Avenue in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — A teen is in serious condition after a shooting Sunday evening on the north side of Indianapolis, according to police.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to investigate the shooting around 6:45 p.m. in the 2900 block of North Arsenal Avenue, near East 30th Street and Dr. Andrew J. Brown Avenue, IMPD Sgt. Grace Sibley said in an email.

A teen was playing basketball outside when they were shot, an officer at the scene said.
