INDIANAPOLIS — One man is dead, and another is fighting for his life after a shooting on the city's west side early Monday morning.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to West Morris Street around 12:30 a.m., near Holt Road.
IMPD officers on the scene told RTV6 an ex-boyfriend was fighting with a woman's new boyfriend when shots were fired.
The ex-boyfriend was able to run to a nearby gas station to call 911 and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The new boyfriend later died at the hospital.
Metro police are still working on learning more about this incident.
Since Friday afternoon, at least 15 people have been shot across Indianapolis, and two have died.
