INDIANAPOLIS — One person is dead after being shot on the near west side of Indy on Saturday.
Police responded to the shooting in the 700 Block of North Concord Street at 12 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult female suffering from a gunshot injury. Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
IMPD homicide detectives have begun their investigation. The Marion County Coroner's Office will release the victim's name once her family is notified.
