INDIANAPOLIS — A person died at the hospital after a shooting Saturday morning on the east side of Indianapolis, according to police.
The person came to a local hospital around 8:20 a.m. Saturday with at least one apparent gunshot wound, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Sgt. Grace Sibley said in a press release. They later died.
Their identity hasn't been released.
IMPD homicide detectives later determined the incident happened on North Colorado Avenue, just north of East Michigan Street, Sibley said.
