INDIANAPOLIS — A person was shot and killed on the east side of Indianapolis early Monday morning.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 8200 block of Roy Rd, around 12:30 a.m.
When officers arrived, they located a victim with gunshot injuries.
Police said the victim was unfortunately pronounced deceased.
