INDIANAPOLIS — Homicide detectives are investigating the scene at which a dead body was reportedly found, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Around 4 p.m. on Sunday, IMPD's north district officers were called to the 4900 Block of South Emerson Avenue on a report of a person down, according to Aaron Hamer, IMPD Public Information Officer.
When officers arrived, they located the person deceased.
According to Hamer, homicide detectives were called to the scene to investigate.
