INDIANAPOLIS — A person died after a shooting Saturday night near 38th Street and Moller Road in Indianapolis, according to police.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to investigate around 8:30 pm. to the 3900 block of Bennett Drive, IMPD Sgt. Grace Sibley said in an email.
When officers and emergency personnel arrived, they found a person suffering from at least one apparent gunshot wound, Sibley said. They were taken to a local hospital in critical condition and later died.
Their identity has not been released.
