Man, 18, killed in shooting on Indianapolis' south side, person of interest being questioned

INDIANAPOLIS — An 18-year-old man was shot to death Thursday afternoon on the city's south side, police say.

Officers found Terence Plummer, 18, wounded while responding about 1:30 p.m. to the 5500 block of Versailles Drive, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

That is near an apartment complex at East Epler Avenue and Ind. 135.

Plummer was located outside of a vehicle and appeared to be suffering from gunshot wounds, according to IMPD. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say they do have a person of interest and they are speaking to them at this time. No additional information about what led to the shooting or a possible suspect has been released.
